Natalie Zucchero takes us inside her breathtaking California nuptials

When did you know you wanted to spend the rest of your lives together?

“We met through two friends who were beginning to date each other, Jasper was wing-manning for his friend with me and now here we are! We knew pretty immediately that we weren’t going to leave each other’s sides and there was something really special between us. We became instant best friends. We had just celebrated our five-year anniversary a few weeks before he completely surprised me and proposed.”

How did you approach planning the wedding?

“Jasper gave me full control of planning the wedding, his role was to be in the charge of the music. This was something I obviously had been planning and dreaming about doing since I knew what weddings were. I wanted to find a venue where I didn’t have to do much to make it special and had beautiful scenery and landscaping. I had seen the venue we chose on Pinterest a few years back and once we found an [available] date in 2022, we booked it without even seeing it in person. We got married at the O’Donnell House in Palm Springs, California and it was a dream.”

What was your bridal beauty look?

“[My inspiration was] Hailey Bieber’s sleek but undone low-bun for my hair and simple, sun-kissed make-up. My dress was very detailed, so I wanted to keep my hair and make-up simple and timeless.”

What were the standout styling details you loved on the day?

“All my outfit changes! This was one of the things I was so excited for and put a lot of effort into. I searched endlessly for the perfect [looks] for each occasion of the wedding weekend.”

What did you love about your Homebodii pre-wedding ‘moment’?

“My getting ready outfit was truly my favourite outfit of the day and it was the outfit I got to wear the longest and enjoy. I knew I wanted something very ethereal and flowy. I searched so many different sites, watched so many reels and TikTok hauls and just couldn’t find something I loved. As soon as I stumbled upon the Gaylene Robe and the Kiralee Slip Dress, it was put straight into my cart and on its way to me!”

Style note: To get ready for her beautiful Palm Springs wedding, bride Natalie wore Homebodii’s Gaylene Linen Robe in white and Kiralee Luxury Satin Slip Dress also in white.

A word of advice for brides-to-be:

“Don’t overthink every detail! The day of [the wedding], I kept thinking to myself, ‘wow, I can’t believe I stressed over so many little things that in the end did not matter if I had them or not at our wedding’,”

Natalie says.

What was the biggest surprise on the day?

“The weather! The forecast leading up to the day was extremely hot temperatures and wind. At our rehearsal, it was so hot people were overheating and I was stressing about that happening. It ended up being the perfect temperature all day with a light breeze.”

When you look back on the day now, how do you feel?

“Nostalgic and grateful. I wish I could relive that day over and over. It was everything I dreamed of and more. I’m so happy I got to marry the man of my dreams and start a new chapter together.”

What are you most glad about when you look back at your beautiful wedding?

“[That we] enjoyed every minute of it! It was so special to be surrounded by the ones so important to us and to feel everyone’s excitement to be there and support/celebrate our marriage.”
